Research interests Since July 2022, I have taken the role of co-coordinator of IMER Jr. I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Education at the University of Bergen, with background in education and critical sociolinguistics ethnography. My research interests lie in the intersection of communicative practices, higher education, gender and race dimensions and how they interact in the (re) production of social inequality in the university context. My PhD project explores the doing of inclusion in a Norwegian university, with a focus on women with an ‘immigrant background’. It is an ethnographic study of the everyday doing of inclusion in the institution to explore and explicate how inclusion is understood, enacted and operationalized in the university paying attention to the effects at the individual and institutional level.
