Walk&talk – for professional and personal wellbeing

As PhD-students (and other hard working people) we do not get enough fresh air and physical activity. To remedy this, we have started up the IMER – walk&talk. Once a week we meet in the afternoon for a walk somewhere around Bergen from thirty minutes to an hour. When walking and talking with IMER-friends you can open up your PhD-frustrations, seek support or ask each other questions about….whatever. Each and one of us possess knowledge and experiences that we can share and might be useful to others.

On the first Walk&talk we discussed life, humour theory and ethics, second walk&talk we talked about the concept of race in Norwegian context, perceptions of time and families’ wellbeing.
